What does your 2SLGBTQ+ identity mean to you?
As a queer family, we take a lot of pride in simply being visible (when it is safe) and letting folks see how utterly relatable we are to their families, regardless of what their family looks like.
What makes you feel empowered in your identity?
At large, people seem to exempt us from the initial shallow, arbitrary social expectations and when we respond with authenticity, people seem all too happy to drop their guard and get authentic too.
What is one (or more) of your favorite things about yourself?
We’re tiny and cute, we’re kind and respectful to each other, we celebrate self love and self awareness. We’re good, good people.
What is your favorite part about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Oklahoma? What would you like to see more of in our community?
Our favorite thing are Drag Queens. We would like to see more Drag Queens, Kings and In-Betweens.
