What does your 2SLGBTQIA+ identity mean to you?

For me, my identity provides a sense of pride in who I am. I find a lot of comfort in knowing that my identity doesn't have to be concrete. It can change from day to day and I can welcome whatever feelings, emotions, or attraction I have freely.

What makes you feel empowered in your identity?

I feel empowered knowing that my identity can be a way to challenge societal norms and expectations around gender, attraction, and sexuality.

What is one (or more) of your favorite things about yourself?

My fluidity is one of my favorite things about myself! My openness transcends a lot of areas in my life from my sexuality to my understanding of the world and others within it.

What is your favorite part about the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Oklahoma? What would you like to see more of in our community?

I would love to see more organized ways to connect within the Oklahoma 2SLGBTQIA+ community! I think there are so many of us doing great work and I wish there were more avenues for us to all come together whether that be through events, organizations, meet ups, etc.
