What makes you feel empowered in your identity?

I feel empowered when I dress certain ways to express who I am or being able to be around other people in the community because it reminds me that I’m not alone.

What does your 2SLGBTQ+ identity mean to you?

To me, my identity means feeling proud and comfortable being my true authentic self and not feeling the need to fit myself into a box or certain label. I also love to embrace the fact that I am ever changing and have learned to appreciate the fluidity that comes with my queerness.

What is one (or more) of your favorite things about yourself?

I love how stubborn I am but in a good way, if I want something I most usually can achieve whatever that goal is, or at least not give up until I’m satisfied.

What is your favorite part about the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Oklahoma? What would you like to see more of?

I LOVE the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Oklahoma, because I never would have had the courage or support to fully come out how I did if it wasn’t for finding this safe community right here in my city. I don’t necessarily know what I’d like to see more of, but I love anything that opens me up to meeting more people within the community.
